As part of the Senneferi Tomb project, Year 11 is also making a variety of artefacts which will help them better understand the processes involved as well as the types of objects that the Egyptians placed into their tombs. Some of the artefacts which the students have chosen to construct include personal items such as jewellery and pots; religious objects such as the Canopic jars, amulets, magic bricks, and funerary cones. They are also constructing a mummy and hopefully a coffin to go with it. Sue Angelo
